Domaine Public & Beam Engineering | Senior Architectural Designer
Sept 2009 – June 2013 | Beirut, Lebanon

Formed design concepts for 2,000-50,000 sqm, residential and mixed use projects. Led the project team in order to present value-added design ideas to the developer, pushing forward innovative architectural ideas while still delivering the bottom line. Resolve key technical issues during Design Development. Created the office CAD standards and oversaw the migration to Revit. Trained staff in Revit and Rhino. Worked extensively in 3d-Modeling and visualization in order to communicate design ideas internally and to clients.

Farshid Moussavi & ACTAR | Editor
2008 – 2009 | Boston, MA

Developed intricate analytical drawings of existing structures and then designed formal variations based on the underlying logic of the types studied. Meticulously researched vaulted and domed structures from various time periods from Romanesque to contemporary. Designed the overall graphic layout of the publication with the Function of Form project team.

Kiss + Cathcart Architects | Architectural Intern

Prepared presentation graphics and won project approval from New York’s Department of Design and Construction Review Board. Assisted in the development of the Remsen Ave project, one of the first NYC DDC Design Excellence Projects and LEED Gold expected.

McKay Architecture and Design | Project Architect
June 2004 – August 2005 | New York, NY

Managed complex detail oriented projects through the permitting, design development, bidding, and construction management phases. Resolved details and co-ordinated with structure and MEP for high-end interiors, including LVMH’s Pucci store on Madison Ave New York, Pucci Bal Harbor Florida, and Swarovski Crystal’s New York office.

Produced construction documents for various traditional projects. Projects varied in scale from home renovations, to high end custom homes, to larger scale ecclesiastical and educational projects.

Heritage Woodshop | Carpenter
October 1997 – November 1998 | Brooklyn, NY

Gained a thorough working knowledge of fine woodworking through hands on
experience at a high end custom cabinetry shop. Projects ranged in style from
modern to traditional and included custom mill work for the Dakota Residences in
New York.
